Our main office can be found at 300 W. Nelson , Bowie, TX 76230.   We also provide services in the rest of Montague county, Clay, Young and Jack counties. 

We provide all our services including counseling and educational courses completely free of charge. 

Affirming Texas Families is a mental health resource where clients can receive assistance with victims' specific counseling, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and a variety of other challenges. We are staffed by licensed professional counselors and social workers who provide developmentally-based counseling, assessment, and techniques for overall wellness. 

If you are interested in our counseling services, call or text 1(855)239-ATFS, or make a referral online by clicking the "Make a Referral" button located at the bottom of this page. Staff will follow up on your referral as soon as possible. 

We do not provide crisis counseling. 

If your concerns are urgent, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255 or call 911.  If your concerns are not immediate, you can call or text us 1(855) 239-ATFS (2837) and we can refer you to an agency in your area if we are unable to meet your needs. 

Our free services include:

ANYONE!  ATFS works with multiple agencies and individuals to provide services in these communites.  We recieve referals from schools, churches. law enforcement, doctors and individuals. 

We provide counseling in a variety of ways to best serve our clients. This includes in both traditional in person and via telehealth.
